What is a Coaching session like?
Regardless of the number of sessions we agree upon, our first session will involve goal setting to determine what we will work on achieving during our time together. The remainder of our sessions will be tailored to helping you achieve your specific needs and desires. Sessions always involve celebrating successes, examining obstacles and challenges, being curious about the beliefs and attitudes that are holding you back, establishing action steps and constantly examining what is and isn’t working so the next steps can be effective.

Why hire a Coach? Can’t I do it on my own?
Coaching can take you above and beyond what you can do on your own. In a world where knowledge is at our fingertips, we are often left overwhelmed, confused and stuck without really knowing why. Coaching can help you find clarity and offer an objective perspective to help you realize the limiting beliefs, patterns and habits that are keeping you from reaching your best self. Coaching will efficiently guide you towards reaching your goals with loving support and encouragement along the way.

How is Coaching different from Therapy?
Coaching is most definitely life-changing and can also be therapeutic, but is not therapy. Coaching is not meant to resolve psychological issues. Although emotional matters may arise during coaching sessions, I do not analyze them. Coaching exists to help you set goals and develop the life skills and habits to achieve these goals. Whereas your past plays an important part in your current life experience, in coaching we will place the primary emphasis on creating your best self in the present and future.

What is the cost of coaching?
I offer an initial “Discover Your Path” coaching session completely FREE! During this session we will explore your vision for your health and life, your current situation and the obstacles you are facing. Within this 30-minute timeframe, we will also discover if we are a good fit for one another. Existing coaching packages will be discussed or we can design your own to fit your current life, needs and budget. At a minimum, you will leave this conversation with increased clarity and a path forward, whether that involves us working together or not.

How long do people work with a Coach?
As you can imagine, this varies greatly. I have worked with clients for single sessions and I have worked with clients for years. The beauty is that you get to design what will work for you and we can continue to work towards new goals for as long as it works for both of us! I do recommend at least a three month commitment. This is enough time to making lasting lifestyle habit change.
